Hogge Claims C&D Bonding West Coast Late Model Shootout Feature at Bakersfield Speedway

(BAKERSFIELD, CA) – Bobby Hogge IV doubled up on Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway as the C&D Bonding West Coast Late Model Shootout feature event winner and IMCA Modified winner during the tracks 69th season opener. Twenty-six cars were on hand for the final stop of the C&D Bonding West Coast Late Model Shootout's four race opening stretch that spanned to three states in eight days.

 

Hogge became the third feature event winner this season in as many races. Dash winner Nick Bartels of El Segundo trailed Hogge across the line. Wednesday's feature event winner at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and two-time series champion Clay Daly completed the podium. Torrance's Mike Kirby and Arroyo Grande's Devin Crockett rounded out the top five.

 

Larry Childress, Tony Toste, Paul Guglielmoni, Kyle Griffith and Mike Corwin completed the top ten. Jeff Decker was disqualified for rough driving.
